Event Description

Deriving deep insights from Fast Data has historically been challenging. System designers have typically had to choose between fast insights on a window of the data (the streaming analytics solution) or analyzing all of the data, but after a considerable delay (the data lake/warehouse approach). Unfortunately this trade off is no longer acceptable.

In this webinar we’ll discuss IBM Db2 Event Store, a new offering capable of ingesting hundreds of billions of events per day, while at the same time making that data immediately available for analytics. The solution is built on an open source stack (Apache Spark, Apache Parquet) and is integrated into IBM’s Data Science Experience (DSX) for first-class data analysis.

Come and learn about IBM’s latest solution for Fast Data persistence and analysis.

Speaker: Adam Storm, Distinguished Engineer & Master Inventor, Hybrid Data Management Architect
