Event Description

There May Not be a Magic Recipe to Continuous Delivery, but a Few Magic Spices May Be Just Enough to Complete Your Recipe.

Starting with Version 12, Db2 for z/OS is using a continuous delivery model to deliver both fixes to problems as well as new functionality in the maintenance stream. Even when you are not on Db2 12 yet, it is important that you understand how this works, as you will likely have to make some changes to the way you roll out and implement Db2 maintenance, as well as new functionality in your organization.

To discuss this and more, GSE Db2 User Group invites you for an afternoon on “Continuous delivery in practice” in Antwerp on Thursday, 5 December 2019.

There is no single magic recipe that works for everybody. Each company has its own unique history, culture, and way of working, and will therefore implement it slightly differently.

As we are all on this journey to continuous delivery together, we first get some juicy details from IBM, CA-Broadcom and BMC about how they have adopted and manage continuous delivery.

To spice up the afternoon, KBC and Colruyt are sharing some early experiences with continuous delivery, with both Db2 as well as in a broader application deployment context.

CA-Broadcom invites you to have a taste of a different yet magic recipe with pralines from Jitsk and cookies from The Bakery when they bring you “A Handful of Application Development Goodies in Db2 12”.

If your mouth is watering right now, register now for this unique opportunity.
