Opportunities of using large real memory with DB2 10 and 11 to reduce CPU resource consumption
Speaker: John Campbell - IBM Distinguished Engineer.
Date: 30th June
Time: 11 am EST 4pm BST
Join @GURUDB2 John Campbell, IBM Distinugished Engineer. John will introduce and discuss opportunities available in DB2 10 and 11 for z/OS to use larger size real memory to reduce performance cost through reduced CPU resource consumption and improved elapsed times for transactions and batch processing. The following specific target areas will be covered: larger local and group buffer pools, use of large page size frames, thread reuse with RELEASE(DEALLOCATE) for IMS/TM and CICS and DDF applications, larger global and local dynamic statement cache, and in-memory data cache.
This is a unique opportunity to catch the top hints and tips from John, there will also be an opportunity for a live Q&A session.
I have checked the registration list and you are registered . I have sent you a link to the webcast. I think the confirmation emails must be going in your Junk mail. See you at the event tomorrow
I re-registered. I used the tool to add the calendar entry to my calendar. The URL that appears in my calendar entry sent me right back to the page I received when I registered. Maybe the URL will direct me to the webcast tomorrow.
Here is the registration link - please can you register again and let me know if it works this time. Is this the link you used ?
I registered but did not receive an acknowledgement. Please let me know what the URL is for the webinar.
