Join us 25 April 2011 at 10am Central/5pm CET for the kickoff of TheDB2Night Show z/OS Edition.  Host Klaas Brant, an IBM DB2 GOLD Consultant, will be joined by the legendary Roger Miller, IBM.

This event shows much of the history of DB2, with milestones of new versions and new inventions. It also shows some of the people who contributed key inventions and innovations in DB2.  It uses many images and mementoes to show the process and progress in Relational DBMS.

Key topics covered:
1. Understand some of the key inventions in DB2
2. Note the teams and some key inventors for the technology
3. See the cross-product design and implementation
4. Provide insight into the past and direction for DB2
