IBM Db2 - The Ultimate Database for Cloud, Analytics & Mobile
Hi All,
I am from the solution team, we have a requirement to track the changes(UPDATE & INSERT) in a particular column from different tables.
Can this be achieved on DB2 Z/os ?? If yes, please advise.
I have been exploring triggers on DB2 but these have some limitations for BEFORE update or INSERT operation done on tables. I need to hold both the new and old values on to my change tracking table so that it will easy to report things on what has been changed and who has changed it.
I would need some suggestions or guide me through how this can be achieved
Regards,
Rakesh MS
