Abstract; At popular customer request this new webcast will introduce and discuss the following: Evolution of Db2 table space type; Facts about UTS partition by range (PBR) and partition by growth (PBG) table spaces; UTS Partition by Range (PBR) with relative page numbering; Conversion to UTS; Tips for using DSN1COPY with UTS PBG tablespaces with multiple partitions; Improvements to UTS in Db2 12;  Case Study on common UTS PBG insert performance and possible solutions; INSERT space search, INSERT with APPEND, INSERT Algorithm 2.

He has extensive experience of DB2 for z/OS in terms of systems, database and applications design. He specialises in design for high performance and data sharing. He is one of IBM's foremost authorities for implementing high end database / transaction processing applications
