We are using QMF Governor to limit the QMF queries of users.

We have configured correctly and it is working OK. We want to get statistics of those queries canceled by QMF Governor but we are not able to discover where that information is stored. Nothing in the Db2 log, nothing in the System log.... when a query is canceled.

Do we have to activate something? Where can we get that information?

Thanks in advance!!

If you are using the default QMF for TSO/CICS governor, you will not find tracking of cancelled queries anywhere. It is not logged or tracked by QMF for TSO/CICS.

If you use the QMF HPO component with QMF for TSO/CICS, then you can track this information in the HPO Activity Log when you are using the HPO Governor. The QMF HPO governor is more robust and offers more governing options than the QMF for TSO/CICS default governor.

Thanks Robin. We are configuring QMF for Windows at this moment from where it will be easier to get statistics.

Thanks again!!!

Hi, did you already take a look on trace Class 4 ? There you can see the DRDA exceptions and ASUTIME exceeded.

Hi Luis Alberto,

Yes, it had already occurred to us, but the QMF Gobernor or the exit that it uses to cancel a query according to certain rules, are not reflected. It is something internal and we have confirmed that it is.
Thanks for the input :-).
