Hello DB2 users...

I apologize in advance if this is not the place to post this question; however, I thought I would sign up and give it a try.  My background is with systems support and middleware (z/OS, MQ, WebSphere, distributed DB2 jdbc configs) and our shop is planning to migrate from z/OS DB2 V11 to V12 this year.  Fortunately we have an experienced z/OS DB2 admin but our CICS systems programmer has recently retired.  I am not very CICS literate and the reality is that we are very behind on the CICS maintenance level, CICS Transaction Server Version 3.2.0.

I know the DB2 V12 program guide and documentation specifies CICS V4+ but here is the question for anybody that might see this on this forum:

Has anybody been involved or know of any z/OS DB2 V11 to V12 migrations that might still be using CICS V3.2?

Thank you in advance for any information that anybody might be willing to share.

To NOT heed the recommended version/maintenance levels is to tread in dangerous quick sand with Db2 12.  Good luck!
