In Db2 12, you can transfer the ownership of database and system objects online if you are the owner of the object or have SECADM authority. You can use TRANSFER OWNERSHIP statements to transfer ownership of an objects to another authorization ID or a role, without any application changes.

Partition-by-range (PBR) table spaces with relative page numbers (RPN) in Db2 12 for z/OS improve the usability, manageability, scalability, and availability for the largest tables in Db2 environments.
