Can you ever have too much data ?

Can you ever have too much data? Yes - if you are not sure what to do with it or it becomes a liability in terms of it impacting your business processes and response times.  DBAs spend a lot of their time analyzing, identifying and trying to fix performance issues.  But the more data you have the more time you spend on data maintenance.   There is another way....  Archiving.
