We're proud to announce Db2 12 function level 504!

Function level 504 (activation enabled by APAR PH07672) introduces the following new capabilities in Db2 12 for z/OS:

  • IBM z14 Huffman compression
  • Prevent the creation of new deprecated objects
  • New support for built-in functions by pass-through to IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator
  • New SQL syntax alternatives for certain special registers and NULL predicates
