Transferring ownership of Db2 objects in Db2 12

In Db2 12, you can transfer the ownership of database and system objects online if you are the owner of the object or have SECADM authority. You can use TRANSFER OWNERSHIP statements to transfer ownership of an objects to another authorization ID or a role, without any application changes.

For the full story on this new SQL capability, see the new Db2 12 GA feature series post, Transferring ownership of Db2 objects by Gayathiri Chandran, over in the Db2 News from the Lab blog.
